Jon Dale - Furniture Maker and Antique Restorer based in Cumbria.

Jon Dale started work in 1974 in Penrith Cumbria as an apprentice cabinet-maker for five and a half years followed by the last two years of a three year course at Rycotewood College, Thame. On completion in 1981 he started his own business as a cabinet maker and antique restorer and conducts this from a workshop adjoining his home at Troutbeck, near Keswick.

He now has thirty four years experience and, as he works alone it follows that each customer receives his personal attention.

Jon Dale offers a wide range of skills in the full or partial restoration of antique furniture, including the replacement of missing parts or components which are too badly damaged for continued use, also veneering, wood carving, wood turning and french polishing. He also accepts commissions for the making of furniture to meet the requirements of customers.
